Wild Woman Circle: "We Are the Weeds"

Join us this New Moon cycle, as we look at how to find resilience in places of darkness within our bodies and minds, by planting new seeds of hope and light.

  • “I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it.” -Maya Angelou

We all have experiences in our lives that may have shattered us or even broken us, yet we always have a choice as to how the shadows created by these experiences shape us. We can let the dark parts within us to continue to keep us restrained and small, or we can chose to shed light on them.

“When it’s all said and done, when the structures erected are abandoned and forgotten, left to disintegrate. What do you think you’ll find growing wild and free? Weeds.” - Nhojj

This New Moon coincides with the Indian festival of Diwali, also known as Deepawali, the festival of lights. This is a time for light to triumph over darkness, to give us strength and zeal to carry on for the rest of the lunar year.

  • This New Moon, we will gather with other women for guided meditation, journaling, and chakra toning and movement to support you to:

    • Ground and center into your body

    • Reset and rejuvenate

    • Tune into your intuition

    • Connect with the Divine Feminine for higher wisdom

    • Release what no longer serves you

This circle is an inclusive coming together of women from all paths and various spiritual/cultural backgrounds. We gather around ideas of Sisterhood, a respect for Mother Earth and co-creation.

  • A candle (in glass), journal, pen, flowers or sacred objects for the altar and anything that helps you feel cozy.

***Kindly plan to remain for the duration of the circle to honor space being held for all sisters and closing space together. ***
