Join us as we take a look at the long view of time and ask ourselves what is truly essential about life.

“When I began to listen to poetry, it's when I began to listen to the stones, and I began to listen to what the clouds had to say, and I began to listen to others. And I think, most importantly for all of us, then you begin to learn to listen to the soul, the soul of yourself in here, which is also the soul of everyone else.” - Joy Harjo
Social justice issues and the increased visibility of Indigenous people has been rising across disciplines in the last year and a half, as attention is brought to systems that need to evolve for healing to occur on so many levels for humanity, the animal kingdom, the plant kingdom and the planet as a whole.
Throughout the pandemic, Joy Harjo, a citizen of the Muscogee Nation, and the first Native American woman to serve as the nations poet laureate, who has now begun her third term, continues to reveal how poetry can nurture us and help us stay grounded.
One of my passions is supporting the voices of Indigenous people and bringing awareness to the vast amount of wisdom they hold, as the original caretakers of our beloved Mother Earth.
This moon cycle, we will open our hearts and ears to indigenous perspectives, by asking ourselves what it means to be human.

This New Moon, we will gather with other women for guided meditation, journaling, and chakra toning and movement to support you to:
Ground and center into your body
Reset and rejuvenate
Tune into your intuition
Connect with the Divine Feminine for higher wisdom
Release what no longer serves you
This circle is an inclusive coming together of women from all paths and various spiritual/cultural backgrounds. We gather around ideas of Sisterhood, a respect for Mother Earth and co-creation.

A candle (in glass), journal, pen, flowers or sacred objects for the altar and anything that helps you feel cozy.
***Kindly plan to remain for the duration of the circle to honor space being held for all sisters and closing space together. ***
